Wow. Great team work. If anyone else is less skilled at construction. Check out BetterDoghouses on the web. There are dozens of doghouse kits, some are even insulated to keep your hound warm in these colder months.

what proportion should the dog house be to the dog? I have a 77lb mutt that is about 32 inches tall at the head, standing. And about 3 feet in length by 25 inches wide. Thanks.

If you size a dog house to the dog, the dog can be really comfortable during normal winter days in NH.
