I worked on 158264, & 158764 from 2001-2004. They're both NAS Fallon, Nevada last I heard. I miss them alot. They flew great until any major maintenance had to be done on them. Then you had to start all over again to get all the bugs out which took awhile sometimes. Very finicky bird, especially if you tweaked on it too much.

The USAF still operates a small fleet of Hueys within the Space Command and the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews.

That sucks that the Huey is being retired. I loved that helicopter. At least I still get to fly on one during the Dayton Air Show.

The Navy is the only branch getting rid of it, Marines still fly it.
