I believe him. The Koran is a religion of peace! When a suicide bomber blows you up there's a piece of you here, there, over there and there! Absolutely believe it.

@Wushuki lol you didnt give any evidence, The sun and moon revolve the earth? thats just exactly how ignorent you are..I didnt copy anything as you do, I named the schoolars name and you can check their biography etc!
It doesnt going anywhere beacuse you are ignorent...

@MOETHEPARTY All cultures believed the earth was flat in absence of further evidence.
In the quran it says clearly that the sky is a dome, the sun and moon revolve around the earth, that God spread out the earth and many similar things. This shows they believed in a flat earth as well.
This conversations is going nowhere however as you are just making up your points as you go along by what fits your current needs and just copy text from pro-Muslim websites when you need some interpretation.

@Wushuki LOL how is it condradiction?you know what a condratiction is?Is to say you are a liar and truthfull at the same time.I said They never believed that the earth is flat neither was it round!I am saying they was neutral. They could believed that the earth is round but I have to find the refrence and now I dont have the time to go in to this. But if you claim they believed that the earth is flat they you have to give the proof! I say they didnt believe neither of them beacuse lack of evidence
-
@MOETHEPARTY This is getting ridiculous. You say:
"I never said they believed that the earth is round"
Then you say:
"I ... said that they didnt believed that the earth is flat"
So they didn't believe that the earth was flat AND they didn't believe that the earth was round? How can you not see that this is a contradiction?
The quran does not claim that the earth is egg-shaped, this is only so in the "re-translations". The generally accepted translations of the quran do not claim this.
-
@Wushuki I didnt condradict nothing, said that they didnt believed that the earth is flat and if you say they did then prove it.It doesnt mater if the muslims in the period of prophet muhammed or later believed that the earth was round,What the mater how the poeple understod the quran.Prophet muhamed duty was convey the mesage and to explain it, the scientific and more complex verses was understod later.Like the earth is Eg-shaped was later discovered by later muslim schoolar and not earlier
-
@MOETHEPARTY You contradict yourself from the earlier post. Again:
"If you are saying is right why doesnt muslims in the period of prophet muhammad believed that the earth is flat?"
Clearly, you were saying that Muslims in the period of the prophet believed that the earth is round, which you now deny.
About your scholars comment, you seem to fail to understand that I am quoting Islamic scholars (Pickthal and Shakir) and you are quoting an unreliable shady website of unknown authors.
-
@Wushuki LOL you asked for evidence I gived you, this is was the caliphate believed and the muslims duty is to follow them, that what our prophet commended: follow the 3 generation after me, Yes I claimed this but I never said they believed that the earth is round..Prophet muhammed didnt know everything in the quran it was many things that was discovered later and explained.I not gonna waste my time who try think he know the quran better than the schoolars and claim they are deceptive
-
@MOETHEPARTY No, it is not. You claim that Muslims did not believe that the earth was flat in Muhammed's time. The "scholars" you quote were born centuries later, hence this is not evidence that these verses do not mean that the earth is round, merely that Muslims discovered that the earth was round 400 years later and then re-interpreted the quran to make it fitting with the facts.
Note how they "re-translate" many verses there, like 21 : 33, to mean something else than accepted translations.
