A Romeo and Juliet Wedding

Modern day Juliets will finally be able to stand next to their Romeos as the Verona tourist board offers the lovers' balcony for wedding ceremonies.
Millions of tourists flock to see the 14th-century 'Casa di Giulietta' (Juliet's house) every year. The walls of the home, which locals in Verona claim is the inspiration for one of Shakespeare's most famous scenes, are
covered by graffiti scribbled by lovers from all over the world.

Now the Verona tourist board thinks they may be able to relieve some of the hardship caused by the financial crisis and finally let lovers meet on the balcony and exchange wedding vows.




Though it's fair to say that most couples will be hoping for a happier ending than their Shakespearian counterparts.
