Brooke and Lucas- Reign of Love- The Phone Call

ORIGINALLY- Lucas calls Peyton and they live happily ever afterrr

BUT IN MY VERSION
Lucas called Brooke first, before Peyton.
"It sucks always being the footnote to someone else's love story"
Brooke reflects on what really happened with that fateful telephone call at the airport.

Yellowish is the main events of what happened with the phone call
The black and whitey glow is a flashbackish of their relationship together+ BL love in general.

This is AU. Obviously. If you don't like AU and it weirds you out click out of this video now. I was bored, and had an idea. Then I got so into it that I started to believe this is what truly happened haha.
I wanted to try something different. This is how I think Brooke would have reacted- said no and freaked out because she didn't want to have to go through the hurt etc again. And then realize slowly what a good thing it could be.
I wanted to pinpoint THIS as the moment she stopped believing that "she could feel this way again", with destiny and fate and romance etc like in Julian's speech at the beginning of the video. Because Julian's little speech about Lucas and Peyton's destiny and romance etc not being for Brooke kinda pissed me off in 6.17- what about Brooke and Lucas' story! all of that was for Brooke back then.

But we all know how things turned out... and even though Brooke finally decides to put herself out there and runs to the airport... Lucas in typical style has already rushed on to the next thing (as usual)
And Brooke then has to live with the secret of what truly happened that day, with Lucas never knowing that she had decided to go to the airport.

Erm yeah... So obviously I'm a massive LP fan... BUT. I have to say this video was really brilliant. Your editing was amazing and not one bit confusing as it's often the case in AU videos. And the SL actually seems realistic enough from a BL POV I guess. Poor Brooke always ended up being hurt with him =(

Now how much I would have hated Mark if that really happened in the show, I can't even begin to think about it, haha.

i'm a hardcore Leyton shipper but I have to say this video made me LOVE Brucas! :D i loved the colouring and the idea he had called Brooke first! I could have totally seen this happening int he show! Love the colouring and voice overs you used. But I'm glad Brooke finally got her happy ending :) also what song is playing at the beginning? it's lovely :) faved!

That was AMAZING! No seriously that was amazing, if that really did happen on OTH I would hate Mark forever, hey i didn't get my endgame but that would be like worse because then we would have been so close, i would go crazy because of it. I would also be secretly happy because he picked Peyton second like he does with everything, when telling his love for her. Like Brooke was first person he said who he wanted when all his dreams come true. Anyways you did a brilliant job on this!

ahhh....today that has just reminded me that sometimes people who (think they) are meant to be together do not always find their way in the end.

But...maybe this is why I love them more...because everyone's life there are love stories what is defening them...and because there's that love what isn't fullfilled but live inside them/us.

i've always been a hardcore brucas fan, but since it's on it's tenth episode of season 8, there's no hope. the only thing i do want - which i think is fair to us brcaus fans, is a scene with brooke and lucas where lucas tells brooke that back in highschool there relationship wasn't a lie, that it was true and he was in love with her, but it just wasn't meant to be. something like that and i'll be happy - cause right now, it's made out he never gave a shit and was in denial!
