@nicnoc1976 If I remember correctly... he hurt his back in a joust & after that he became far less active. That was the greatest cause of his later weight gain.

I love how they show the character/stereotypes of the 2 countries.

2:05 oh yeah he is handsome :)
and the clothes really fit.
-
why do people always only talk about matt, just shut the fuck up already

1 : the "french" flag at 0:23 did'nt exist until 1789 (French Revolution).
2 : Francis the 1st did'nt hate fighting, he used to lead his soldiers himself in battle.
Anyway, Horrible Histories is quite funny, so I can forgive those mistakes.

i love how it says mat as: handsome and ben as: tubby well ben isnt tht big only if u compare him to mat lol

@VaseOfDryFlowers holy cow dude stop posting tht on evry single horrible histories video nobody cares!
And Henry was not the famously tubby monarch we all love and fear. He was handsome, elegant, and athletic. He didn't start packing on the pounds until 1536. He did get his butt kicked by Francois I, though.
Not one of HH's more accurate sketches.

@ravinraven718 That is true, he wasn't fat in his youth. He still looks more like the real Henry in this than Jonathan Rhys Meyers ever did in the Tudors!
