Doesn't help that Kunitz got suspended for game 5 with a retarded elbow. I will agree Penguins fell apart a bit, but St. Louis wasn't ready at the beginning of the series, the Penguins were. Stamkos heated up as the series went on, and he's one of the big reasons they won.

@TheBren22 Oh, and I like how you say they won the cup, they have 3 players from that cup team. Plus they were out of the playoffs for 3-4 years. You lose the feel of the intensity that the playoffs bring. Stamkos and Hedman were definately not ready, and Stamkos got better as the series went on (which was a HUGE key to them winning). The beginning of the series they were not ready for the intensity of the playoffs. Then game 3 they were ready, and game 4 the Penguins won in a close game in OT.

@eltyr18 I was running out of characters when naming players. We also had Pirjeta, Martin Straka (who we traded), Matt Bradley, Martin Strbak, Kelly Buchberger, Steve McKenna.... I can keep going and going.

I've been a true fan since 2001, that was the last time we made the playoffs before the 2006-2007 season. I got a customized penguins jersey in 2003-2004 with 18 on the back cause noone wore it then. Nobody wore it till 2006-2007, and that was Dominic Moore. I'm not a Crosby bandwagoner.

@TheBren22 I was there for the 2003-2004 season. We had 5 goalies start at least 1 game that year. Caron, Aubin, Fleury, Chiodo, and Brochu. We only have two Penguins left from the team, and I already mentioned Fleury, the other was Orpik. Our leading scorer was Dick Tarnstrom a defensemen. Our team consisted of Rico Fata, Milan Kraft, Kris Beech, Koltsov (can't remember first name at moment), Alexei Morozov.

No rookies on the season doesn't mean rookie to the playoffs. You know nothing.

@eltyr18 Tampa's young team?? are you serious. they have no rookies on their roster right now, and st.louis, lecavier and others just won the cup with tampa a few years ago. and roloson is in his 40's and went the distance with oilers a few years ago. So their not young or inexpierence with the playoffs. just admit it your penguins got a series lead 3-1 and couldn't shut the door cause their shit.
