DAY 3 OF THE 30 DAY VIDEO CHALLENGE!!! What's good people? A lot of people ask me on a regular basis what I use to make my beats and what kind of equipment I use. I've been meaning to make a video like this for a while and hopefully this will answer some questions to those who have been asking.

I really truly do appreciate everyone who supports what I'm doing and those of you who subscribe to my channel. You guys honestly keep me motivated even when I want to take a day off.

  • hay adam great vids man i have a question how do u change the midi channel on the yamaha i have the same one and i want to use it on midi channel 3 i also have the akai 61 keyboard on channel 1 and the pads on the akai on channel 2 thanks

  • @ewewell Thanks for the question. I set it up so long ago that I don't even remember. Lol. I just followed the instructions in the manual. Since they are both controllers and I only use one at a time I have them both on the same MIDI channel right now. Once I get my Motif I'll have to switch it up again.

  • Hey cool videos man... keep it up...Quick question, do you use the sounds from your yamaha ever or just use it as a controller? Also i see some guys have multiple keyboards but use one midi controller, do you know how they're pulling the sounds from the keyboards and just using one controller? Sorry for the long comment. Thanks

  • @MrJonlinton Both of my keyboards are MIDI controllers. Linking multiple keyboards to one controller is just a matter of connecting them correctly and routing MIDI paths.

  • What's a good place to get good drum saples from?

  • @ClikClak0825 I will be selling my own Adam Ivy edition drum kits here in a few weeks and also holding a competition to win one. Be on the look out for those. Thanks.

  • Fl 10 haha No Midi..Yet...and what kind of soundproofing foam is that ?

  • I use FL Studio 9 xxl, not the best but hey, at least im making good beats, lol, :)

  • FL till the death.

  • @AdamIvyTV hey man, I'm 16 and love music and the work that goes into it. I was wondering what you think is good equipment and software to start with. Also, where do you plan on going with beat making...famous???

  • @Aluarth i have used all 3 and i feel the cubase is a lot simpler then the fl studio and reason looks complicated at first but once u get it down its real easy only downside ot reason is no vst's i mean its easier to lay down drum tracks with fl studio but u can rewire fl studio with cubase meaning u can run fl studio to lay down some drums and cubase for everything else cuz cubase quality is so much better

  • @OqchukYTV delay problem is most likely from ur audio interface ur using u will have to go into ur interface control panel and change the lateny should be buffer samples thats what mine is.
