They are from Showtime's 'The Tudors' which is a programme that has come on every year from 2007 following the reign of Henry 8th and his wives. Season 3 is on now in America on Showtime I think but being in the UK, I have to wait till the Summer when it comes on BBC :)

No, I don´t hate Anne Boleyn, but I prefer Katherine, she was a clever and a loyal woman, though is another matter I also like the actress who performs Katherine.

I ´d feel sorry if Anne had had nothing to do with the destruction of Catherine, if everything had been Henry´s decisions but it was not. She was the one for expelling Catherine from Court and isolating her from even her own daughter as the marital separation was not enough for her. She had loved Henry executing Catherine at any excuse and getting rid of her but he feared the Spanish King and Emperor´s invasion. Her cruelty the Queen and for all who supported her was dreadful.

Not to mention KOA's horrid treatment by Henry VII while waiting if he was going to marry her to his son (henry VIII) or not! She lived in rags and without food and in debt for like 5 years while Henry VII waited to see if something' better came along' to marry off his son henry VIII. This woman was used and abused by men for far to much of her life.

Anne, just like Henry, was power hungry and used Henry to get what she wanted. Anne didnt necessarily deserve to die, but what she convinced Henry to do to England was a big mistake. EVERYTHING she convinced Henry to do was a BIG mistake.

Katherine did not deserve to be treated the way she was by Henry and Anne. Katherine was Henry's true wife and Queen of England. Henry's other "queens" and mistresses dont mean anything. And Mary I was the only true heir to the throne of England. God bless you, Queen Katherine of Aragon. Rest in peace :)
