Kratos says that he is a human. If it is alright that he will die very quickly (in comparison to the other three half-elves), of course he will watch over and protect him. Martel thanks him, because she truly cannot stop worrying (that's a guess, I can't figure out what she's literally saying D|) about that child. She apologizes. Kratos says that Mithos is a wise child, so surely it will be fine. Martel agrees, saying that's what she wants to believe.
When they get back, Martel suddenly tells Kratos to watch over Mithos. That child doesn't have any friends his age. He's a child that doesn't understand other people's way of doing things very well (I think). "I know this is an unreasonable request, but that child trusts you, so..."
Kratos says that they are probably ready to meet them back at the road. He asks if she's alright to take another trip through Gaorachia Forest. As always, the color of her face isn't looking very well. Martel says yes, it's fine. She just feels a little tired. Kratos says, in that case, let's go.
Martel identifies a field of flowers. She marvels over how amazing it is that there are so many. She wouldn't expect such a terrible forest to have something like that. Kratos says that it's a big deal because they could heal an entire village of sick people with it (apparently the flowers have healing properties or something). Martel says yes, so let's gather the others and start to make medicine (I guess they must have been looking for these flowers to save a town).
The monster pops up, and Martel screams. Kratos unsheathes his sword and tells her to support him. Kratos attacks, and Martel casts Sharpness. Kratos uses Lightning Blade, and then Shining something or other. The enemy dies, and Kratos says there aren't any more. Martel says that, just as she expected, it looks like she wasn't needed (for him to fight the monsters) after all. Kratos says no, that's not true.
Martel notices something, and tells Kratos to look. Kratos is also surprised.
Kratos asks Martel what's wrong; why is her face becoming pale? She says that when the royal line rises up, that child's murmured words... (wait what) Kratos asks if she means the words "Where can we go then?" Martel says yes, Mithos's face then looked so angry. It looked like his energy been broken. They truly can live anywhere, however...
A rustling in the bushes cuts them off. Kratos tells Martel to watch out; there's an enemy above them!
Martel says, no, that child (Mithos) depends on Kratos. Kratos, Yuan, and Martel. That child's heart thinks that as long as he has everyone, everything will be okay. It seems like he's becoming an adult, but he is still only 14.
