  • hey man, what knida strings do you use?

  • Hello TheMetallkylling,

I use different strings on all of my guitars.

The Stratocaster in this lesson is strung up

    on D'Addario EXL115 Blues/Jazz Rock 11-49.

  • Actually just do a lesson on what you did at the beginning.. the "improvising"?

  • Hi joshboy152,

    You're in Luck...

That is the topic of the next vid. in this series!

    Pls. Subscribe!!!

  • i heard the first lick from a guitar book book that came with a cd

  • Hello maxpayne123,

That lick is definitely a B.B. King style run I've played for years and years now. I modify the feel and change it up all the time, but the inspiration is all B.B. to the core!

Hope that book you read it in gave him credit on it. Long live B.B.

    - Andrew W.

  • Hey andrew i love these videos, you have really helped me take my playing to the next level. Please post more improv and theory videos bc i can play chords no problem but when it comes to improv and theory im completely lost

  • +1. Hope part 2 comes out soon.... can't wait. Great improvisation by the way! You have listened to quite a lot of albums to get such a feel and phrasing. I myself am an avid fan of SRV, Clapton, the three Kings (BB, Freddie, Albert), John Mayall and so many others... can't even list them. But you are absolutely right - to play blues you have to LISTEN to blues... A LOT! 5/5

  • @pwizard665 to be honest either its a wierd first act gutiar or...u have the most unique fender in the world, but u know what are u sure its a fender?does the headstock looks like anyother fender there is...if its not then its not a fender and may probably be a yamaha, who knows goodluck.

  • @kado726 Going by sound is a great way, but theory is such a big shortcut to getting the same sounds.

  • can you help me with this? I bought a fender guitar at a garage sale about 4 weeks ago but the body was clear see through like poleaxe glass. It has a hard case and is in excellent condition have you ever heard of one like it or was it made special by someone. I can't find a thing about it please let me know ty

  • video tape your self playing then deconstruct what you have played and see why it sounded so cool
