  • Raphcoll..... in all my years I have never seen anyone break into a car through the windshield.

  • I find ironic that a product called shatter safe removes the safety feature of side impact windows. You know those were designed to be breakable right?

  • Nice try Dropfry.... Side glass is tempered and not annealed glass as it was originally. Tempering increases the strength of the glass to five to 10 times that of untempered glass. Tempered safety glass breaks differently than regular clear glass. When tempered safety glass is struck it does not break into sharp jagged pieces of shrapnel-like glass as normal window panes or mirrors do. Instead, it breaks into little pebble-like pieces, without sharp edges. Shatter Safe makes it even safer!

  • Forgive my ignorance. How does this help in a rescue situation?

  • In an emergency situation with first responders, they will cut through the glass the same way they would come through the front laminated glass. If you are on the inside without assistance from the outside, you do the same that you would with your front laminated windshield. You kick it out. The film is designed to withstand impact from the exterior, not the interior.

Thanks for asking for a resonable explanation. Shatter Safe

  • LOL EPIC

  • @bluecollarcanuck Im not a troll i just dont respect items that are poorly advertised so that they make them look amazing. This is an example of that.

  • @SuPrAmAd101 OK, and you must just be a fucking troll goof if insults are all you can reply with. Go to a fire department demo and watch them in action, asshole.

  • @bluecollarcanuck Well your town must be shit if your first thought was protect you from a riot.

Show me a video of it being broken from inside and a time comparision in which it takes firefighters to break a normal window and this one... Then ill say its good. Until then, shove it and buy a bulletproof car you moron.

  • @SuPrAmAd101 -If you try to drive away from a part of town where you think the trouble is, and found you've taken a wrong turn. In a mob mentality, anything could be a target. -See below, as to the comment on firefighters. All rescue trucks carry equipment designed to cut through glass, even windshields & polycarbonate. If saws don't work, the hydraulic shears will. Also, see below- it's designed to be kicked out form the inside.

  • @bluecollarcanuck How many times do you go driving through a riot?

It will save your life if firefighters cant get in?

How about if your car overturns and you cant get out:?

  • @SuPrAmAd101 Yeah...up until it saves your ass in a riot or carjacking attempt.

  • Totally stupid product.

  • CRASH SCENARIO #1(TEXTING WHILE DRIVING).....CAR DRIVING ON HIGHWAY CRASHES FULL THROTTLE INTO THE BACK OF A SEMI-TRUCK AND BACK OF TRUCK HAS SMASHED THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD KNOCKING THE DRIVER unconscious.CAR BEHIND THIS CAR SLAMS INTO THE BACK OF THIS CAR AND RUPTURES THE GAS TANK OF THE unconscious DRIVER.BYSTANDERS RACE TO THE CAR TO GET TO THE unconscious DRIVER BEFORE HER CAR EXPLODES WITH HER AND HER INFANT CHILD IN THE BACKSEAT TO NO AVAIL.MOTHER AND DAUGHTER DIE IN EXPLOSION.THX SHTRSF
