Truly, they never cease to amaze me! I must have heard dozens of bands - big, brass-and-string bands, small bands, play this delicious song, and here is Ruben Gonzalez, aged one hundred and ninety something producing this amazing tour de force! They were special - that Buena Vista Social Club.

@DietseGeus you think so because fucked up usa trade embargoes cuba and prevents you from hearing any music made in there. they dont even let cuba to have internet, so you can get the music through internet.

This is a kind of music that gives the caracter of the Cuban populations.
But it whil disapere when the government give mor freedom and trade possibiltys, becouse the American influence will come and damage all the original musicstyle,s . After that whe must do it with recording musicians.
