In the latest 2011 elections for the Russian duma, putin's party united russia had another stunning victory with 49.5% of the votes according to the final results.
The opposition communist party ,CPRF, got 19.2% of the votes, and the smaller center right oppositional party Yabloko got 3.3% of the votes.
The Kremlin set up partis "Fair Russia" ( socialists) got 13.2 % of the votes and the Zhirinovsky Liberal democratic party of russia got 11.6% of the votes.
