i wouldnt say the dropkick murphys ruined it they did change it up a lot and it no longer has much the irish feel any more but it really depends on what you i prefer the original sound though

Is have to disagree with the person who said Dropkick Murphys "ruined" this song. I think quite the opposite. The beauty of this amazing song is that it's been done and redone in so many different ways by so many different people, and through ao many different musical formats. Dropkick's version just adds a younger, more modern flare to it. By no means does that take anything away from the song itself. Now, that said, i think the Bards did one of the best versions I've ever heard. Just my
