  • I just bought my first rifle and even I know that scope isn’t properly mounted. You never even adjusted it to customer’s eye. You need to work with that scope parallax adjustment on the customer. You need adjust top turrets and place leveler on the top turret. You’re going to run out of windage and elevation mounting that scope on like that. Why pay all that money for precision scope and pay someone $100 for some slap routine job. $100 I better get some professional custom adjustments.

  • @SequelFinalNight to complete the setup you might want to watch our videos on scope setup and bore sighting to complete the setup.

Helpful tips, but what about checking eye relief before applying resin and tightening everything up?

  • i mount my own scopes i had 3 gun smith do it for me and they didnt do it right i never trust people to do it for me anymore

  • @ufailhard1 First, make sure you are using the right sized rings for your scope. And, as the video suggests, rosin will help your rings grip the scope better. Finally, what is twisting? Is it the scope body or the reticle inside of the scope? If the reticle is turning you'll need to send it back to the manufacturer for service.

  • @GREEPER552 - I usually have this done at the range. One range charges me $35 and the other $22.50.
