What a totally gay version. Anadine is an understatement.

The Searchers were my favourite group in the 60s and 'when you walk in the room' was my favourite song.
Have to say that this cover is not bad.
-
full playback and a forgetable version.

I knew Mike so got to tour with them late 70s' with some freinds, it was a dream come true....oh the stories..... thanks for some lovely memories....

I really like this version. I suppose this band recorded it in the late 70s. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from the 60s/70s that didn´t "broke through". It´s a fantastic musical treasure.
Listen (youtube) for example to:
THE ZETTLERS (1965)and their version of "Skinnie Minnie"+"Beautiful Delilah"
Really f.....g good with a bloody driving beat.
THE GOLLIWOGS and the song "Tell me". Check up the singer...Yes, it´s him!!!

@Widmerpool99 crotch? are you referring to that rolled up pair of socks stuffed in his pants?
-
They're good but they made it into a ballad...doesn't quite make it.

ALLAKAD Playing : The 1st song that caught my attention when I arrived in Belfast NI.

I was 11, and believe me they were about as far from creepy as it was possible to get! We adored them xxx Still do :)

I never heard this version before. I attempted recording this song a while back after I heard Agnetha Falkstog ? (from ABBA) sing it.
I like the way the singer holds his guitar to one side, so the Crackerjack audience - average age about eight - can see his crotch. Adds new levels of creepiness to the band's name.
