This is a video project I put together that's essentially a run of me playing Chain Factor with some heavy video manipulation/editing that correlates to the music.
The original idea i had for this video was to just post one of my better chain factor runs with background music. Once i selected my music, it *begged* for some basic video manipulation, and then before i knew it that turned into a month-long on-again-off-again project delving into some realms of final cut pro that i have never tried before.
It was an awesome learning and exploratory experience, and i think i'm pretty happy with the end result. There was potential to make the Almost Coda more chaotic visually for more climactic effect before the recap, but i opted to shelve it mainly because i needed to be Done with this and move on to other projects that i actually have deadlines for.
i wrote a blog entry about some of the technical details as well as the philosophy behind some of the video concepts.
