@Takasch54 its the only way they'll learn. sounds like its how you learned. thanks for this vid. friend gave me this excact briggs&stratton said i could keep it if i could get it going. a corner of diafram had just come out of the gasket. just remounted it and now i have 4 yr old mower that cost me nothin. my kinda price

oh I'm doing just fine, once i figured out that they do this, i bought several of them as i have several mowers, I've had some success reusing them, sometimes they last and times they don't

Hi Jay do you have an idle ajustment screw on that brigg carb.? Does it have a throttle adjustment on the carb.? Somehow it seems stuck in high idle. If it keeps running that way it is going to kill, itself. You can try taking off the card take off the bowl and float and needle clean it and put it back together and back on the mower. Make sure all the linkage and springs are where they suppose to be. Good Luck, Buddy

I would recommend eye protection when spraying the carb cleaner and compressed air though.

@gmc07joe You are 100% right Joe I should of let the people know to protect their eyes that carb cleaner burns like all hell in the eye

Hi how are you, yes it is on that type of an engine. i stock up on them from the wholesale distributor. They are common on the small Briggs and Stratton Engines
