In my opinion: The best Main theme for a Final Fantasy (Except for Final Fantasy Series's Theme). It is unfortunate that the original SNES version was never released in the US. The PS1 and GBA versions altered it to the point to where it took away the feeling of the game. The fans need a official SNES version releases on Wii Virutal Console or something.They re-released the PS1 version recently on PSN (which was a bad version of the game). You are better off with a Rom and Emulator.

They did release this game in the states. I had it... THEN I FUCKING LOST IT AND RAGED.

I don't understand why this game was never released in the states... You can see the evolution between IV an VI in this game in the little advances in the programming they made... it's everything a FF game should be and then some... and the music from this series is just as amazing as anything I've ever heard... Gilgamesh.... Exdeath... Harvest and Cursed Earth... WHY did we have to miss out?!

You and I brotha. FF 2 and 5 are like my favorite underrated FF games. But really I like 1-7 equally but 2,3,5 was never really released in america until too late so them being underrated is understandable.

What makes this game enjoyable is the lack of a serious plot with brooding characters. That's just it: The game doesn't take itself seriously. It didn't need to deliver some preachy, subtle message.

Most under-rated Final Fantasy game, This game had a good story, a great cast of characters, it's a shame no one really takes the time to recognize this game.
