Pre-Duel Chorus Lyrics:

zettai unmei mokushiroku
zettai unmei mokushiroku
shussei touroku, senrei meibo, shibou touroku
zettai unmei mokushiroku
zettai unmei mokushiroku
watashi no tanjou, zettai tanjou, mokushiroku

yami no sabaku ni sanba, uba
kin no mekki no tougenkyou
hiru to yoru to ga gyakumawari
toki no mekki no shitsurakuen

SODOMU no yami
hikari no yami
kanata no yami
hatenaki yami
zettai unmei mokushiroku
zettai unmei mokushiyami, mokushiroku

mokushi kushimo
shimoku kumoshi
moshiku shikumo
mokushi kushimo
shimoku kumoshi
moshiku shikumo

[That last bit isn't supposed to mean anything. It's just the syllables in "mokushi" (apocalypse) randomly put together in different ways.]

  • Lol how come both the stairs and the elevator take the same time to finish

  • <3 this series! Freaking crazy.

  • why people are complaining of the elevator... when there is a fricking car up there?!?!?1

    how that car got there?!

  • @anymaegrrl Lmafo that's true xD

  • My question is how can they be spinning around on the platform like that and not get some kind of vertigo or just plain dizziness...and thank goodness Utena isn't allergic to flowers...

  • @missmuggledetector Not to mention it's cooler than the stairs *lol*

  • @MoJoSama I dunno, maybe the elevator sybolizes that she rises to her challenges faster, and with more assurance vs. taking the stairs one step at a time to reach her destination. And I love the heavier version of this song - perhaps it means her burdens are getting "heavier" though she's reaching them "faster" (which is either a good or bad thing.) I guess she's leaving behind childhood even quicker now, and with less painstaking and slow steps - she can let go faster.

  • @KennethHoward it's about the Holocaust.

  • @KennethHoward no. it made LOTS of sense, you just didn't get it!

  • This is from the Ends of the World saga, right? It seems to be heavier than the pre-duel music from the Akio Ohtori arc.
