@Knobotty So I guess it doesn't matter that you as the employer are the morally bankrupt one for not paying your servers a livable wage. Now, you may argue that doing this would increase food prices, but I welcome that. Higher restaurant prices in this economy when it's already expensive to dine out leads to less patronage. This, in turn, means greedy employers are forced to close, and out of the ashes will smarter moral businessmen rise who can pay livable wages and keep prices low.

I think the restaurants should just put the tip in the price of the food like they do in Europe. It's way more expensive, but it would keep the the cheap-ass, shitty-tippin' motherfuckers at bay. The thing with blacks is, not only do they leave a shitty tip, but they fucking run the shit out of you. They ask for outrages things like to-go silverware, or a mug of hot water to soak the regular silverware in. Not all of blacks are shitty tippers, but the vast majority of them are.

i wish black people could tip 10 - 15 percent.. That would make my day... I wouldn't struggle so bad... If they tipped what they were supposed to tip 15-20 percent i might have a chance for less stress

I find this clip to be a very light-hearted way of getting an important point across and while the tipping percentage being discussed is about 5% too low, it truly does make the point.

I also think that by making the percentage a bit on the low side, it doesn't cause that much "wallet shock" to the non-tipping listenership; once they get used to 10-15%, 15-20% will follow.

@torontothegood NO, I said I love PEOPLE....It just so happens that while I'm in school, I chose a job that allows me to interact with people in a positive way. It is my goal every shift to make sure EVERY guest has a great experience at my restaurant. I want them to leave happy. They in turn reimburse me. That is the nature of the job. You're a piece of shit, and you're proud of it. Interesting. Karma will get ya buddy. If you would have been in the service industry, your attitude would change.
