Lafayette Venus Export Mode

First off not worth doing this mod!! The power drops below 3w at band edges and receive also drops. This video was made solely with the desire to do it and not to leave it this way as the radio stinks in export mode. Best is legal Mode and thats how it is set now..........

ok its just i have looked at different sellers for this radio and they state 40channel..?

and its always eu band and not uk..

@2e0saf Well the shops obviously have IQ0. The venus in legal mode has the uk40 and then CEPT40 directly after so when you can the radio can make all 80 channels without pressing any buttons to select another band. So uk40+eu40 after each other

@2e0saf Of course, as an OM i thought you would know that in export mode is illegal and so cannot be sold. So yes indeed the radio is sold legal with cb channels for all europe, and these include the UK as standard from the box

@2e0saf No, export mode ends uk40. You need it in LEGAL MODE for all legal bands around EU and export is that. Not legal, not for use inside the UK
