  • I was checking a message when I saw this video on the sidebar. As an African-American male, Marlon Brando brought tears to my eyes. This man is truly a good human being. Speaking only for myself, his words just moved me deeply, because he was so honest and unpretentious. I wish that all people, Black, White, Asians, and Natives people of all lands could have Brando's heart; however, sadly, within this world, Brando is a rarity. I hope Whites heard all his words--not just those about Natives.

  • @MonsieurMercredi Well said, thumbs up

  • There is something about him protesting the Academy Awards and I think a Native lady there. I think something like that happened.

  • @Zumbafan999 Search on youtube: Marlon Brando's Oscar® win for " The Godfather"

  • EXCELLENT!!! I wonder why this is the first time that I have seen this about him. I did not know this about him until now. Thank you for sharing this valuable information. It's reassuring to hear a white male in support of the NA's and to be able to see thru his own culture. There aren't very many who are strong enough to do that. MUCH RESPECT FOR MARLON BRANDO!!! R.I.P.

  • @ayemaya75 You are much welcome.

  • I am a member of the First Nations people in Canada and I want to say right now that hearing these word from the great Marlon Brando has made me grow a great amount of respect for him. He was a real man that thought with his head, not with his wallet.

  • Brando was a decent human being. I got alot of respect for that man. The interviewer however seems un-interested in Brando's comments and typical of his unwillingness to learn the truths about First Nation Natives. He should listen to Brando and learn from that great man.

  • @MonsieurMercredi Betting you support Ron Paul for the 2012 presidency? Am i right? Cause i do, and i think you'd like him too after what you said in your post :)

  • Very interesting, host is condesending and ignorant you can just tell he doesnt care and is listening purely because hes just such a big star. Brando is so articulate and so well informed, I wish we had more outspoken people in this age.

  • @Zumbafan999 He didn't accept the oscar because of the mistreatment of Native Americans. I think he even donated land to them. It seemed as though he would not go along with Hollywood politics. It's heart warming to know that once he began understanding about the injustice done to Native Americans, he was going to speak out about it and try doing something. He was exceptional in this way.
