4.3 PvP System Changes Debate: ft. Pureshield, Hengest, & Hitmanblood

A pilot episode of WoW debates, where we discuss important changes to WoW from both PvP and PVE stand points. This episode addresses the upcoming changes to the PvP system.

MMR reset:
Match making rating is a second rating players have in arenas, and it determines the opponents and points gained/lost for the game. MMR can decrease when a person loses a game, or switches teams. There were many issues of MMR having a negative effect on season 10, especially how the MMR from season 9 was carried over. There was simply no option to start fresh for the season, resulting in people taking advantage of previous
MMRs or struggling to reach their appropriate ratings.

Conquest point income:

Arenas and Rated BGs were the only means to fulfil one's full conquest cap. Random bgs only granted 25 conquest per win per day. Now the reward is increased and it is also possible to reach your full cap!

No conquest should come from Bgs at all if you want arena gear then learn your class as well as other classes and go do arenas for conquest...don't get carried in a bg to get good gear and act pro

@funnycrewGTD Completely agree, he acts like hes something special, not trying to be a hater or nothing. I just cannot stand the dude anymore. Thinks hes pro cause he can nuke some people in a random BG, and talk over a wanna-be tactic video.

I think its an awesome change! Being a casual player myself, I think it gives us a chance to get the gear and compete with the hardcore players. Just because we r casual doesn't mean we don't posses the skill to compete. Now we can. Also to any hardcore players who say the casual players are crying, it would b just the opposite. Don't b afraid that us casual peeps may give u some competition. I would think this change should. Welcomed by all. Just means new compitition.

The CASUAL PLAYER is killing this game... They cry and bliz listens they want the gear, but they do not want to work for it. Their lazy to say the least and will tell you they have to work alot or their to busy to grind it out. The problem with that is you see them running around sw in trade chat complaining about how everything is to hard for them. I think bliz said to hell with and just give them the gear, becasue their not gonna do a dang thing with anyway.
