I have waited for weeks since this album came out for someone to post a song from it,apparently not! This is a song from Ralph Stanley II's latest CD. For those of you who don't know, Ralph II is the son of Dr. Ralph Stanley, the greatest bluegrass artist that ever lived. Ralph II has studied the likes of his uncle Carter Stanley, Keith Whitley, Roy Lee Centers and other great country singers for years. PLEASE go out and buy this CD, This Guy absolutely gets it!
LOVE IT

@dogsee1 Maybe driving a truck has messed your hearing up. I'm not sayin he's the best singer out there, but you sure can hear the Whitley influence.

people forget that when the bluegrass style began to be called bluegrass was during the time when country stopped being the country that everyone knew and went more down the mainstream Ralph II is stickin to the roots of old country and playin the old style i think "clinch mountain country " should be the genre in old tyme country music

Ralph II is a genuine artist and person as is his style of music. If he sounds like someone else, his critics say he is trying to imitate another artist, and if he doesn't sound enough like someone else, they point that out, so this critique is irrational at best. His latest cd rated no 1 as well as one of the songs from it, so I think that speaks for his music and for the fans who value it as much as I do.
