I saw the production at the Shubert Theater weeks before it closed. I preferd the movie version better.

@TheFriedolays Yet here you are watching it :-p. Do you liking that closet you're so obviously inhabiting? First of all, dancers require greater physical fitness than most athletes. Second of all, dancing is far less gay than-say-football (rugby, soccer or Gridiron), what with all its tight uniforms and guy-on-guy action-not to mention the shared shower room afterwards ;-).

I like the choreography for the stage version more than the movie version, though I've only seen the revival and I'm not sure if the original is anywhere near similar.

I like the movie choreography of the opening as much as I like the stage choreography by Michael Bennett. However, I prefer the choreography of "One" better on stage than in the movie.
