  • the audio sounds very distorted. Is this the transmitter audio??

  • You need to but the best transmitter you can get Broadcast Warehouse Transmitters are used by government agency's all over the world at Airports. shopping malls university and 100,s of radio station. You can obtain an excellent SWR with these units. The compressor limiter and the computer data interfaces make for a beautiful piece of electronics.

  • Well you can buy a Transmitter that will cover 20 miles but you need to run 25 watts to do it. You also need a Dominator aerial as well. But you would have to get a licence from your country's authorities to do it I would say.

  • This transmitter you can set the RF power output between 0 and 25 watts. Go back and read the website.

I have mine set at .9 of a watt in and with an aerial gain and feed loss, I have 1 Watt out put . All Professional FM transmitter you can set the RF output power. Broadcast Warehouse make the best transmitter but it's TVI attenuation is not as good as the Tugicom.

  • @ophir37 This transmitter cannot be used with a licensed LPFM or any licensed FM for that matter. Good for pirate operation only.

  • @Aviator14 So is Jay Walking,

  • I have had one of these transmitter on the air for 5 years. Its as clean as a whistle. But all FM transmitter need a professional compressor limiter. The cost of a good unit is about the same price as a transmitter. This unit is vital with LPFM.You can't get something for nothing especially with LPFM. I run mine within the specs and I can cover 3 miles. But thats with a highly efficient aerial with an SWR of 1.1.

  • I hear soms serious distortion. I think this is because of overmodulation.

  • I want to buy a transmitter that cover at least 20 miles.

What do you guys recomend me? So, is this brand better than other ones.

What else do I need to make a radio station works?

  • Isn't this illegal
