AirPrint On Any Printer (Mac OS X)

We found a way to enable AirPrint on shared printers in Mac OS 10.6.5 (NOT 10.5!! I MADE A MISTAKE!) and are sharing it with you. Here is the link for the files you will need: http://cl.ly/3O9p

This will make AirPrint compatible with ALL printers connected to your Mac and shared over your network. There is no need to even have an HP printer to use AirPrint with this mod.

So place the files in the download in the following locations:

/usr/libexec/cups/filter/urftopdf
/usr/share/cups/mime/apple.convs
/usr/share/cups/mime/apple.types

(The last 2 files will need to replace the existing ones.)

You will then need to reboot.
After delete your printer from Print and Fax settings from System Preferences.
Then add your printer again from Print and Fax settings panel.

On system preferences just go to sharing an tap on printer sharing and you are now able to share your USB printer

also, sinz ur doing dis thru wifi, i only qotta modem/router thinq. nd ma modem/router is connected to ma computer, nd den from da computer it qoes to ma printer....duz dis mean dat i hav to hav ma computer ON fo it ta work?
