Here is my robot ( http://robot.homepageentry.com ). This robot is a 3 wheel mobile robot. It is connected to my PC using a serial com port (RS-232). My software is capable of guiding this robot to any required location as long as it is visible in the digital camera frame. blinking lights are used as a visual aid for locating the robot position and orientation in the scene. I used Roborealm software and API to connect with the digital camera and for some of the image processing. The micro controller on the robot is an Atmel AVR MEGA128. The robot body is built around a plexiglass base shape with two battery operated power screwdrivers as the robot motors and transmission units.
