Under military circumstances - with all the equipment (the uniform, the tactical vest) worn - this could work. In civilian environment - not a chance.

im no martial arts expert or never had experience in disarming knife attacks. but if someone attempts to stab you i would have though its very unlikely they'll swing the knife in an arc motion like that and aim for your groin?

What a dirty questioned and fake new “martial art” called Haganah Ground Survival Instructions, it’s like when someone comes up with “al-Qaeda material art? it’s a terrorist group full of bloody history called Israeli Haganah. Bottom line is you just can't steal a bunch of moves from other respectful martial arts and form it into some new "martial art" and name it after a terrorist group called Haganah that killed hundreds of innocent people just to survive!!!

This is terrible, yes likely to get you killed. failed to keep with basic CQB principlas like control the weapon with both hands. Do not try to strike until you have control and remove the threat for good. Remember the attacker with the knife is gonna keep fighting and trying to stab you he is not gonna stand there and let you do this.
