  • Imotekh with royal court making sure 1 cryptek has solar pulse.... and if you have the points take a standard overlord with 1 cryptek and solar pulse xD ..... that way.... your opponent gets to night fight his life away ... you can just turn your flashlights on :)

  • Storm lord with scarab farm , wraiths , and a ctan shard. Nightfighting + changing the terrain equals evil. Put tactic on the shard deploy toward pushing you opponent back to the edge then redeploying your forces back thus making night fighting worse.

  • I can't bring myself to use Imotekh anymore. I played 2 games with him and destoryed my opponent... I felt like an ass because Imotekh changes the game so much, I feel as though its cheating

  • Take him and 30 scarabs to chew up the enemy armor and hold up enemy units until you can move your units closer then after the scarabs are killed you can lift the darkness and blast what ever's left away.

And because the scarabs come on the larger bases you can make a line of them across the board letting you charge several enemy units at once.

  • Get Imotekh and a second overlord.. that allows you to have two units of crypteks (5 in each). Upgrade them all to harbinger of destruction and give one cryptek in each unit a solar pulse. That makes each unit cost 195 which is cheap for five 36" str8 ap2 assault shots and solar pulse.

  • @Emidretrauqe

yes, they're called Null Field Matrices. They even affect Tyranids ( which explains why nids tend to avoid some tomb worlds ).

there's also speculation on the net that the GKs' tesseract prisons came from the Necrons.

  • @StarSpawn06 They used to. Do they now? I haven't heard anything.

  • @Emidretrauqe

fluffwise, the Necrons have counters specifically against Warp-related powers.

  • i say IG artillery! killes every thing!

  • 3 Doomscythes 2 t stalkers tons of AV the scythes dont roll death ray to hit (no penalties to shooting) and once the stalkers are close enough turn off night fight and open fire it could also protect foot warriors/immortals and scarabs so tons of AV,scoring units and other good stuff you wanted to add (wraiths, lychguard, praetorians etc)

  • @bywd no actually it says any Unit friendly or enemy hit by this line takes that hit where with the doom scythe it is models under the line
