Gene Autry never sang a bad note. And "Sillver Haired Daddy of Mine" is one of the bittersweetest songs ever written. No one does it like Gene. I sure miss him. Thanks.

I had no idea I'd find a video of Gene singing this. My father had silver hair in his youth and loved this song. I have it on a very old 78 rpm record. To me, Gene is singing to my own Daddy, Frank. Thanks for posting.
