I know Beethoven went deaf due to syphilis. I was just making a joke here.
-
Beethoven has not been deaf all his life, if it was the case, there would have been no way he could compose anything; he GREW deaf by thirty.

@stolenusername4 Mate don't sell it short, Disney got it out there with Fantasia. As for myself, my Dad got me involved with classical quite young, and when saw associated with characters, kicked it up a notch!
No, it didn't sell the music out, just made me crave more and more, I'm 51 years old and can't get enough of the classics!

How could Beethoven hear it?

@stolenusername4 No selling involved, they are old enough where even you can do something with it...
-
@stolenusername4 that's humbug, having a happy memory of something makes an art piece more intense... in other words you are an asshole....

association can ruin music, fuck warner bros and the looney toons... sell a song to a commercial and you can't listen to it anymore without thinking of a car or some shitty shampoo.
I remember when Looney Toons did the "rabbit of seville" such amazing memories beautiful song.
