Stanley is now 13 weeks old and has discovered how to climb the stairs. However, as you will see coming down the stairs is still a bit of an issue!

  • this video made me get a cocker

  • @meganbg45

That's nice to hear. I hope you enjoy your puppy dog as much as I enjoy Stanley!

  • omg stanley is soo cute! my mum said we can have a cocker spaniel next summer holidays :) i am super excited! are they difficult dogs to you know train and look after?x

  • @Dalmatianlover97

Hiya, cocker spaniels are very intelligent dogs and learn very quickly. You need to make sure your training is consistant and I would recommend going to a training class. Stanley is now 3 years old and still just as adorable. They are companion dogs and will follow you around everywhere you go but as long as they get fed and walked daily, they will be your best friend!

  • is stanley a show cocker or a working cocker??

  • @xXLaurenStaceyXx

Hi Lauren, Stanley is a show cocker. Working cockers are a bit longer legged and a bit skinnier and the show cockers are stockier. Stanley will be 3 next month!

  • Aww I bet he's galloping up AND down by now :D

and I keep thinking you're calling him Poppy, which is my cockers name :D

  • my cocker was the same way when he was a puppy! he would be so afraid to come down the stairs, but he had no trouble going up :P

  • My cocker spaniel is the complete opposite to yours, he didn't care how he got down the stairs, he even tried rolling ... But yours is so adorable!

  • adorable!! I love cockers!

  • Tu Polska przejmujemy ten filmik. :D:D

  • im just wondering why the tail isnt cut

  • thankyhoo : )

  • @craftygiraffe73 Some cockers are intelligent just make sure you get them from a reputable breeder. it may cost alot more but its very much worth it. Firstly they breed for temperament and looks, not just looks as a common dog breeder would. This means that they arn't as scatty and hyperactive, also kennel club breeders tend to take better care of their dogs wellbeing. They are also bred to have less of the breed problems. for example ear infections, droopy eyes, dribbling issues, aggression ect
