NOT Sorry for Slavery

Congress has entered into it's record an "Official Appology for Slavery."

This hollow appology not only does nothing to make ammends for slavery, but in fact it insults the very people to whom the appology was directed.

The fact is: Without Slavery, African AMwricans as we know them, would not exist. Therefore for congress to appologize for Slavery, expresses regret at the creation of African Americans.

The contemporary white American male fears being branded with the racist tag to such a large extent, that he often makes irrational and uninformed decisions concerning racial issues.The spineless modern crackers, many of whom are politicians, have adopted a 'Just give them what they want and get it over with' mentality to racial relations.This approach is rooted in fear, and does little to solve the problem of racism head on. So your logic is since slavery resulted in Africans living in America congress shouldnt have acted to apologize for slavery. Ok I see your point. But I could say since white European settlers came to North America and wiped out the native population that no apology should be made cause because of this expansion we all live here today. Murder is murder, slavery is slavery, and no apologies can undo the wrongs of the past. But victims and families deserve respect for their losses.

Blacks have the same chance to win or fail in life, same as anyone else.

I have absolutely nothing to apologize for. I feel no white guilt.

I don't care about their ancestors, any more than they care about mine.

If blacks can't get over it and are carrying a grudge, then they are racist.
