  • @catnip824 -- Actually, raw eggs are safe to eat in Japan because they don't have a shitty environment.

  • i don't understand these people who move to other countries and all they do is "gross this and I can't eat this" and other negativity. Food=such an important part of any culture and definitely so, in many Asian countries. If you don't get the food part, u may never completely get the culture part either...and just remember: MILLIONS of people for over THOUSANDS of generations have often eaten that 'gross food' for years in that country. Show some respect man.

  • lol i thought that guy was white but hes asian lol

  • Whatever @ohaipanda, you can eat American raw egg rice. It's delicious. I've eaten it hundreds of times. It gives you egg farts. That's about it.

  • asian but act like western, that gross

  • And he hasn't even been shown the natto yet.

  • @ThNamesJohn You can eat eggs that are fresh. Eggs that are in the grocery store (in the US) are usually sitting around for 2 weeks.

  • Well.. it look REALLL delicious. But having an egg raw?..

  • For what i think Japanese prefer fresh food which have both good and bad , for example :you could easy to get some disease or fresh food have more nutrients which make there live longer !

  • @0trashz -- It's really, really, REALLY good. And considering you love raw food, I suggest you try this at least once! Just remember to pour the egg on hot rice. ^^

  • @OhaiPanda so im assuming you ate that? what is it like really? i love raw food, sushi, lamb, blue steak (barely seared raw meat) sashimi, natto, but i stop at raw egg...

  • @OhaiPanda Raw eggs are raw eggs. You can still get food poisoning, salmonella, etc. You run the exact same risks as eating a raw egg anywhere else. There are preventative measures you can take, i.e. not eating one with any cracks, but you're still taking the same risk.
