Where Eagles Fly

Taken from the Ulster-Scots (Scots-Irish) musical On Eagle's Wing, this song conveys in its lyrics the determination shown by the Ulster-Scots against our foes.

According to the Irish Republican Eoin McNeill, the modern day Ulster-Scots are the only people with the right to claim citizenship of Ireland. After years of research, in an effort to prove that Ireland had from the dawn of man, been a Gaelic homeland, he discovered the Gaels (a word which means "Foreign Invaders") arrived at our shores from the Iberian Peninsula several thousand years ago, and murdered the original inhabitants. The survivors of this genocide found refuge in what is now Scotland.

McNeill had the honesty and integrity (traits not often found in Irish Republicans) to publish his findings, much to the despair of the Sinn Fein propaganda machine. The direct descendants of these people returned to their ancestral homeland during the plantation, and have remained ever since!

The opening lyrics of this song are particularly poignant to those among our people who have suffered at the hands of Republican racists and murderers.

Maybe it's just me, but making digs at republicans and their "propaganda" isn;t very fair given that you're making your own propaganda :)
