@guydwy U make some good points even tho I don't totally agree w/you. I think the fact that he was wealthy didnt make him act pompous or snobby, etc like it would for most ppl.; the fact that he was wealthy made him detest monetary wealth b/c his parents were changed for the worse b/c of money. But of course chris didn't "play his cards" right and obviously he misperceived and was ill-prepared for Alaska. His sense of adventure and his need to run away from his problems blinded him from reality
