The same day we received our donkey, two baby wrens fell from their nest near our front door. One died shortly thereafter. The other we fed for a day but it also died. We then found a third healthier baby wren in the same spot. Here we are feeding it.

Thats not very nice to call somebody child a brat...you seem like you would like the song whip your kids by yourfavoritemartian...haha

  • @whyismykittyabutt55 it does not matter.....it was stupid to let the kid give the baby wren water. He gave it to him like a fire hose. The dad should keep the brats hands off the bird. Very dumb and they are asking for trouble with the bird. And just so you know...this bird did DIE of apiration problems!!!!!! Probably from the brat getting involved and being allowed to squirt the water in the birds mouth. So dumb!!!!

You cant expect everybody on youtube to be a ornitholigical pro at bird rehabbing. Give the guy a break ive seen people do stupider like try giving bird seed to a hawk hit by a car.

  • wren for the other video

  • that is my name

  • I got videos of Baby Carolina Wrens on here. Wrens like to eat earthworms, bugs, and spiders. Your wrens were cute. MINE NESTED IN THE RADISH PLANT!!!!!!!!!

  • Google Grubco for mealworms. Also Google and visit this forum bluebirdnutcafe. Good community of bird people with good knowledge.

  • the way the water was given in the eye dropper was wrecklace. you risked majorly aspirating that bird. It looked like you let the child give him water.

  • well i am stuck with four of them, they are all eating like horses,i've raised bluejays, mocking birds and a grackle which i still have as a pet now for 3 yrs.

i am feeding them gerber turkey & gravy which is HIGH in protein + various other odds and ins.seems to be working for em so far.

  • They do very well on mealworms, baby crickets, waxworms, etc, which you can buy at most pet stores. be warned though they eat ALOT (our 2 wrens go through a 1.2oz can o worms [$4.99 at petsmart] in about a day and half) and quite often, and will cost alot to bring one up to the point that it can live on its own. It is best to vary their diet to get best nutrients and to introduce them to various tastes. give them any little treats you find around the house aswell, like in this video
