@pillsburydoughboy47 I say I bet your nothing like what's described because I myself is nthng like the "description' of narcissism; apart from it's all about me.I 'm the center of the universe, basicly loving yourself completely and unconditionaly.
If someone cant see themslves worse yet taught not to see themselves on that level are like I said the ones with the actual disorder,so, that's 99.9% of the world population.

@pillsburydoughboy47 "and I was genuinely more concerned about her, than I was about myself". That's not genuine.
"is that normal"? No, that's abnormal.
I bet you're nothing like that BS criteria/diagnosis that bogus pyches try to BS people with. Seeing yourself as #1 is a disorder? puh-lease. The opposite of narcissism is the REAL disorder and you know what that says. :)

that credits are narcissistic bro, realize that

yes, I feel ENTITLED to see my family.
I just can't handle rejection anymore.
-
what happens if you have all the traits but you love someone more than yourself?
I consider myself a narcissist, but in high school I was head over heels in love with this chick...
and I was genuinely more concerned about her, than I was about myself.
is that normal?
lets see I talk a lot, I feel a deserve a cubicle job (entitlement), I feel I deserve to see my family (more entitlement...)

I don't mind this video, it's kind of a fresh take on Narcassism. Most of the information being discussed in articles and other videos is repetative.

It's a fact that a group of people behave like narcassists. How else can we identify them if we don't have a name for it. I think it's the "condition" that's being labeled, not the person, and the label is just a starting point to a path of understanding.

a douchebag.
The opening is focused on the cliche of narcissism such as being "in love" with oneself, when actually, narcissism is merely a state of holding high importance of one's needs over others. This includes avoiding contact on an emotional level (thus pushing away the idea of needing "admiration" from others), and usually feel the need to build up a glossy, appealing front in order to appease others.

2.W/o a moderation intervention. Either through support system or self awareness(the best of supports) we fall for the commercialism and materialism that is around us everywhere. It is the best disorder for a consumer society where the interests of the Advertisement institutions are concerned. Narc. are the best consumers. B/c they dont really love themselves. But want the world to love them by any means necessary. The cool car, clothes, latest gadgets, achievments et al.
