  • top 3 favorite beers from Glarus:

    1. Spotted Cow

    2. Fat Squirrel

    3. Organic Revolution

least favorites: Hop Hearty & Cracked Wheat

  • i agree about your 3 favorites. i have a hard time finding a new glarus beer i don't like. i tend to find it's a "style" issue. i'm more of a fan of darker, bitter beers and my brother loves a good ipa. but across the board i am impressed by the quality of beers produced by new glarus. and if you get the chance, definitely try an unplugged beer by new glarus. even if you don't think you'll like it. because it's definitely something special

  • @6stringsbrainfingers I think the Naked one is to try to gain the "lite" beer crowd for those who enjoy stuff like bud light and miller lite

  • Great review guys. I really love spotted cow, and really like all the other New Glarus beers. Except for their Naked beer. It's just to alcohol tasting with not enough beer flavor.

  • you guys suck at beer tasting. HAHA might as well be drinking a "blue moon" since you cant even taste what you drink now. You love adjuncts.

  • Thow shalt NOT brew beer with corn. Corn is for spirits.

  • Rock on, beer nerds! :) Spotted Cow is AWESOME!!! I have a friend who claims that Gumballhead from Three Floyds Brewing Co. in Munster, IN is the best beer he's ever tasted. What's your take?

  • fuckin faggs sharin beers

  • live in toledo oh., but have family in rockford ill. love to side trip to new glarus, nice town, and top notch brewery. cant leave without filling trunk with cheese, fudge, sausage, and especially beer ! thanks for the review,

  • Nice review. I live about 15 minutes from the Illinois and Wisconsin boarder and will drive up there to buy New Glarus brews.

New Glarus itself is a great place to spend a weekend. Unbelievable food and beer!

  • good reveiw... i liked it alot.!!!! i would personally pour these beers a bit slower, but hey!! its all personal preference!! lol..... would you please do a reveiw of fat squirrel? it is by far my favorite new glarus beer.... i dont get to have new glarus anymore as i am stationed in japan... i miss it alot :(

  • in response to the comment you made about spotted cow. you are very right.. with this particular beer it is generally preferred to keep the beer chilled well, and not shake it around too much, as to try to leave the "slush" as you lovingly call it at the bottom. but i must note that with alot of bottle fermented beers, it is customary to poor the beer, then when there is a small amount left in the bottle, gently turn or twist the bottle to collect this "slush" then continue pouring. CHEERS!!
