  • @aubloom That fish could easily weigh 300 pounds. I live in Ketchikan Alaska, some of the best halibut fishing you can do. If you don't kill halibuts before putting them on the boat you risk a chance of the fish breaking knees or possibly knee caps. Most people either gaft or shoot fish that big before pulling them on board.

  • @stasiorastaman Humans need food to survive as well as any other living creature, and it's *losers*.

  • Ha nice. i would be so mad if they were to accidently lose grip of the gaff and the fish dropped back down to the ocean.

  • what was it really? i'd put it at 190-220 tops. by the way, you don't actually need to shoot it, just put the barrel near it's head - it's the sound that stuns them..try it next time.

  • I think i just got a boner and i dont have a penis.

  • Bloody hippies with your catch and release, how would you like to be dragged through the water by your lip and then hung on a scale and left out of water for a few minutes then put back in the sea with your eyes bulging out of your head from depressurisation and dried skin only to be torn apart by predators because you can't swim properly, I keep every fish I catch because I eat it because I am top of the food chain, if it's a lithe then I put it in a kreel

  • Great clip , Wow what a fish, right on

  • wtf u must not know a thing about fishing quit being rude and get a life cuz they do that to knock the fish out so it will be eaisier to get in the boat retard

  • Last I heard halibut is pretty expensive if you buy it per pound at the store. Imagine if it was at least $30 a pounds, it just paid for the entire trip!

  • that is fantastic!
