Credit cards are your enemy when you have a lot of debt, but when you're out of debt, they can do great things for you!

@RainCityBlues I think that it could be effective, but part of the problem is trying to figure out which businesses to boycott and what the criteria is. If you're going to tell people to boycott Best Buy because they are a big business, that's not a very compelling reason. On the other hand, if a place was using sweatshops or contributing to anti-gay rights causes or something, that's an easier case to make. It's not as clear-cut as with racist shops.
