I agree- it was a forward pass- it was close but the ball went forward and not because of the defender's push but because of Warner's motion. It is interesting to think what might have been if he aired it up to FItz one more time. But I give the Steelers a lot of credit for what they did. I just think people need to realize it was a close game that could have gone the other way too. Steelers won it legit but that doesn't mean they didn't get a break or two.
They won their last two titles against THE POWERHOUSE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS and ARIZONA CARDINALS.
Your Steelers, my friend, haven't beaten any real talent this decade to win their titles. And they dodged the Patriots in both runs, proving they were second best when N.E. wasn't at full-strength. Sorry, but you have 4 and 3/4 titles.
o im sorry your completely right.... how can you dodge them when they suck so bad they can't even make it to the playoffs...? and as i remember we did beat them this year, shows how much they rely on tom brady. O yea btw to win a superbowl you gotta beat more then just one team, thats what makes it hard. O and sorry but no one cares what you think if we have 4 and 3/4 titles because the fact is we have 6 lombardi trophies sitting in our stadium regardless if you like it or not. Facts > Opinion
And who did the Pats* beat (more like cheated to squeak by with a FG at the end of the game)? An overrated Rams team that never did dick after the 2001 season, a roided-up Panthers team that hasn't sniffed a Super Bowl in 6 years, and a perenially underachieving Eagles team. And they "won" all three by a combined 9 points. The one time they weren't allowed to cheat, they wound up choking against the NFC's 5th seed. Yeah, real impressive, asshole.
Fine. Riddle me this, then. Why is it that the Giants beat them in SB XLII, then, when the "Super Genius" Belichick was supposedly unbeatable when facing a team for the second time in the same season, particularly in the postseason? Especially when the Giants were only a 10-6 5th seed, and Coughlin spent most of the 2007 season one more near-player mutiny away from being fired? Huh?
