@ClassicFIHD use thin ca for hinges, it should saok right in and help make the bond better, they have to bend so if build up occurs, just rip em out and put new hinges in, they are cheap as lot easier than buying debonder and trying to get them out
@RCFunHobby Hate to be a pain, but appreciate the help. I tried to install the Robarts Hinge Points but I don’t like the big holes I have to drill.
Question: The instruction booklet calls for thick CA but everything I read says ONLY use thin CA on the hinges. Did you have to clean any CA buildup in the center bending area of the hinge?
Hard to believe I've been building for 30+ years, but on the ARF's I’ve been using pinned hinges up to now. I still fly my 30 year old Cutlass Supreme.
It just came in today. What spinner do you have? I wanted the plastic Great Planes 2-3/4 with the aluminum back plate, but it seems they don't make that size. The Great Plane all aluminum spinner looks nice but very costly. And then I could not find the correct adaptor for the all aluminum spinner.

@ClassicFIHD I used the CA Hinges that came with it, they turned out good so far.

@RCFunHobby, Thanks. I just picked the Dubro Spinner up.
Did you use the CA-Hinges that came in the plane? I'm planning on using Robart's Hinge Points.

@ClassicFIHD I used a standard dubro plastic spinner, think it is 2 /34 or maybe even 2 1/2, i'll have to look and let you know
