Spotting at NAS Oceana

IN THIS VIDEO, this is not your usual spotting video from NAS Oceana. The first part of the video will feature a whole host of Super Hornets and Hornets departing from Runway 5L (I didn't get video of the first two departing), with the jets returning to practice the Fleet Air Power Demonstration. The Hornets are part of the Omars, the aggressor squadron based at NAS Oceana, and their participation in the Air Power Demonstration features two mock dogfights with Super Hornets. You will then see the six Super Hornets join up to fly the Fleet Flyby. In addition, you will see a practice demonstration by an F/A-18F Super Hornet, along with portions of two back-to-back practice demonstrations by F/A-18C Hornets.

Then, you will FINALLY get to see some normal operations at NAS Oceana. Between the Air Power Demo and the TACDEMOS, a lot of aircraft did depart off of Runways 32L and 32R - those of which were not filmed because of my location. I did get to film some 32 ops...

I seen these jets fly over the Beach at Virginia Beach back in 2000 It was an awesome sight . I will be back there in 2012.

its so loud those f-18s i was at motor world near there and me and my friends couldnt hear each other speak but it was amazing

First time I have seen an F-18 refuel another F-18 and at low level too. Great camera work.

You do such a good job keeing these jets centered in the screen. Thanks for posting these, I love them. Can you please tell me what type of camera you are using.I am in the process of getting a camcorder and wanted to know what type you are using. Thanks again.
