Citing Failed War on Drugs, Former Seattle Police Chief Calls for Legalization of Marijuana and All Drugs

Norm Stamper is a thirty-four-year police officer who retired as Seattles chief of police in 2000. • Goddamn that Obama! I was fooled by his charm and had high hopes for him, but ever since that bastard got elected he's backed down on almost every promise he's made. Turns out he's no different from every other asshole politician; just another soulless liar, another painted-face in the politics circus. Goes to show that neither leftist douches nor right-wing turds are gonna change anything in our country, it's all just a grand charade.

    The Dutch lesson

Two countries took the drugs test. Who passed?

In Holland, there is no war on drugs. They believe this is a social problem, not a criminal one. And all the evidence suggests that their policy works

  • nope

  • The problem is that it would be serious competition for other industries. This was the real reason it was outlawed in the 30's. It would put the paper industry out of business.

  • Guess you've never had the police at your door because you chose to buy something they didn't like.
