I've noticed something over the last 20 years or so. Whenever I see live music and its the old time Jamaican groups performing I'm never disappointed. Whether its Jimmy Cliff, Derrick Morgan, the Heptones or whoever, they always give their all and they're all great live artists. I suppose it's because that's exactly how they started, performing in front of audiences. Contrast that with the present Xfactor generation: one winner all but gave up after being booed off stage first time up.
