@IntellivisionDude If the picture is fine, it won't work, you need to strip her down and have a look at the pcb for damaged capacitors and spacers!

Hmm, how is the picture, if that is not spot on, there is a common cure.

7800 works, but does have some audio problems. The sound is part static just like the 2600 jr i have. But it does work just sounds awful. One of the controllers didn't work either so i just put in an order for another.

I doubt that your CDX is having problems because you are using a Sega 2 adapter, as they were the exact same adapter, from what I understand. But, please let us know.
Dawn of Sorrow is fantastic and is a sequel to a GBA game you may also want to get with the same character and premise.

The CDX adapter didn't fix anything. So it must be something inside my CDX. It plays Cd games just fine but has problems with certain Genesis carts. Someone at digitpress tested the same games on his CDX with no problem so it must be something wrong with mine. But i do own a Genesis so i don't need it to play carts, but it would be cool if it worked.
